Ben Cole

BIN!!!! Ben is this amazing guy I know. He takes things apart and puts them back together… if not better! He makes me feel like I'm 7 again (in the good way) where you are constantly excited about things and discovering and finding out how to make things work. Ben and I talk to each other in funny accents. We go and check up on each other and make sure we're on task. We'll bring things to show each other in our studios, and we'll ask about obscure things… where to find them, buy them, or discover them. Ben is truly a great friend, and an amazing artist. He's well planned out and helpful beyond anyone would ever dream.

At first I wanted to make this crazy intricate teapot for Ben. I wanted to attach a million different parts and made it have more of a meaning than just teapot. Instead I went to the simple side of Ben. I wanted to capture a good color he enjoys and a great shape and form of his piece.
