Kara Paone

Kara and I are good ceramic friends. She's probably one of my favorite artists, and I got the pleasure of going to Arizona for a clay conference with her. She's always got a spunk about her and I always love/loathe her hair color. She always is exploring new avenues and different facets of ceramics, and has encouraged me to do the same.

I wanted to make a teapot for Kara that was nice, simple, yet had an impact. I used glass as her colorant in the teapot, and put gold luster on the lid, for Kara was the first to "try" gold luster.
