Loren Baker

Loren Baker is the department chair at Biola University's Art Department. I didn't have the pleasure of having any classes with Loren, until I went to Paris with the Art Department. Loren is a great teacher, full of stories of old, and intelligent, helpful input for critiques. Loren is a funny character, always lighthearted and happy it seems.

I made Loren's teapot based on his funny hat he brought in Paris. I think the hat stood out a lot, and was quite a sight to see on the metro. Either way, I wanted a simple form for the body, and a little accentuation on the lid.
