Rosie Petrovich

Dear Rosie. She is so precious. How I love her. She makes these great pieces that are truly beautiful and simplistic. She also is an amazing draftswoman who has capture many a senior citizen and brought forth their character. Her other work that resonates with me are her color collages. She takes out texture pictures from magazine clippings and assembles them in such a beautiful manner. Very Whimsical.

I made a teapot for Rosie that was a great representation of her color pieces. I wanted to capture that, and put glass in the lid for the accent of color. The form itself I think is a great structure that was helpful to the overall look.
