Shannon Leith

SHANNON. Omg, Shan. LOVE. So this is probably one of my favorites. She is this amazing photographer and now curator, and she always seems to fill my heart with joy. If there's anyone rooting for the little things in life, Shannon would be their cheerleaders. She has such a huge talent at finding the details in the fabric and enjoying them to the limit. She takes amazing photos of weddings, and basically just blows my mind.

Shan, Shan, Shan… well Shannon's teapot is actually really special. It was probably the most problematic one, but probably one of my favorites. Shannon's main media is polaroids and so I decided to select some of her pieces and translate them to ceramic. SO, the pictures on the piece, are actually her polaroids. Unfortunately this teapot had the most trouble, breaking 3 times, and I actually had to remake it twice. Oh dear.
