Tina La Carra

Tina La Carra has been a family friend for who knows how long. Since I was a girlscout at least. Anyway, I have always loved the friendship that I have shared with her and her family. I am always surprised at the amount of care and devotion they are willing to give to my family and have always been there for us through thick and thin times.

When making Tina's teapot, I wanted to make her a piece that couldn't stand on its own. Symbolizing what family really means. That you can't be a family with one person. I added the detail in the front as an accent to the form of the piece.
